Ericsson: Online Cultural Screening Solution (2006)

Ericsson ANZA’s senior management was faced with the challenge to implement the company's values throughout the organisation. To address this challenge, the Psych Press Asia team developed an online cultural screening test. The new screening test was developed using psychometric test development methods such as focus group and interviews. The screening test was normed (benchmarked), based on a large sample size of Ericsson's employees. The solution is a normed cultural screening test which measures the extent to which a new Ericsson Australia candidate's personal values match with those of Ericsson Australia. The screening tests are offered to all new recruits and both graphic and narrative reports are forwarded in real-time to the relevant business managers.

NeoDerm: 360 Online 360 leadership feedback Solution (2007)

Neo Derm’s senior management was faced with the challenge of improving performance. To address this challenge, Psych Press Asia developed a tailored web-based 360 feedback system which identifies the employee’s areas of strengths and weaknesses as perceived by internal and external stakeholders (direct managers, peers, customers and staff). This solution was developed using an internal sample group and relevant business data. Each employee’s report included numerical performance data, detailed explanations and developmental suggestions.

SADAF (Saudi Arabia Petrochemical Company)): Online Work Safety Screening Solution (2008)

SADAF’s senior management faced the challenge to reduce the costs associated with workplace accidents. To assist the management with this challenge, Psych Press Asia developed a tailored online work safety screening solution which requires each applicant to complete a sophisticated screening test comprising relevant personality and situational-judgment questions. Based on internal benchmarks, a real-time report is offered to the recruiting manager or other relevant managers. The report identifies whether the person is likely to exhibit work safety behaviours and is less likely to experience work accidents. The solution was linked to the company's intranet and is used by all new applicants.
